On 14th January Patrick Deege is holding his midterm presentation of his Diploma Thesis. The topic is going to be "A consistency manager for peer based, Massive Parallel, Virtual Environments".

The presentation is going to start at 15.30 o'clock.

 

 

 

Starting January 2010, the weekly peers@play meeting is going to take place at a different time.

The new appointment is

Thursday, 15.30 at the Chair of Information Systems II (adress: L15, 1-6, 7th floor, Mannheim)

 

The meeting at Schloss Dagstuhl was a great success. Next to getting to know each other better, the researchers from the University of Mannheim and the University of Duisburg got a chance to exchange research advancements face-to-face. To get an impression of the meeting we uploaded some pictures that can be seen here.

 

 

From November 25th to 27th the peers@play Team meets at Schloss Dagstuhl (see http://www.dagstuhl.de/en/) to discuss results, incite discussions on current and future topics, and to plan our next steps.

 

Coming Monday, November 23rd, Richard Süselbeck is going to be at the NetGames Conference in Paris.He is going to present our new poster "Peer-to-Peer Support for Low-Latency Massively Multiplayer Online Games in the Cloud". The presentation is going to take place at 3.00 pm. Click here for further details on the programm.
