Tomorrow, March 15th,  Laura Itzel is presenting our latest publication Consistency Management for Interactive Peer-to-Peer based Systems at the Disio 2010 workshop in Malaga.  The presentation is scheduled for the first session (9.00 - 10.30 am) of the workshop.


 

The famous German newspaper BILD stepped by at our booth at the CeBIT Fair and published a picture. The picture shows Prof. Torben Weis demonstrating the project. Click here to see more.

On Thursday, March 11th, Patrick Deege is going to hold his final presentation of his Diploma Thesis. The topic of this thesis is
A consistency manager for peer based, Massive Parallel, Virtual Environments. The presentation is going to take place at 15:30 o´clock at the Chair of Information Systems II  (L15, 1-6, 7th floor 68161 Mannheim)

The peers@play project is going to offer a Team Project to Master students in the context of the new masters examinations regulations. Master students of Informations system who are interested are encouraged to step by at the information meeting.

Dr. Gregor Schiele - Overall Project Coordinator - is going to present the team project. The title of the team project is: 

Integration of a peer-to-peer-based Massively Multi-User Virtual Environment framework into the OpenSim platform

Christian Schönbein has recently joined the peers@play-team. He is going to write his Diploma Thesis. The proper title of his Thesis is still to be announced.
 
Recently we have been notified that our paper "Consistency Management for Interactive Peer-to-Peer based Systems" has been accepted at the Workshop "Disio 2010".
